The movement I chose was Vecchio Castello. What is being expressed in this movement is sort of a sense of richness, or power. The movement has a low tone for the most part and at times it gets dissonant. The painting looks like a kingdom of some sort. The music relates to the artwork by portraying that sound of power and richness by the looks of the building, which could be a mansion for a powerful person.

The title of this piece is "Starry Night", painted by Vincent Van Gogh. What's being expressed in this piece is a feeling of serenity and also a sort of darkness, in which the cypress represents. The mood of the piece for me is calm and it has a liberating feel. This piece is open to anyone's interpretation. The way the paint makes the sky move brings these feelings.

I've decided that I'm going to try and compose on guitar instead of logic. Even though I don't know many notes or chords to use, I feel like composing on guitar would be something I'd like more. So far, I have decided to use a D major chord in my composition, I've played around with it and I don't have much. To be honest, I'm sort of stuck at the moment.

This is the only thing I have in my composition so far and I do not like it. I find it to be hard to compose on the guitar, harder than on logic. I like the melody I have, but I don't play it well enough.

I have decided to switch to composing on logic. It's much easier for me to find the right sound for my art piece, Starry Night. I like what I have so far and I think it really fits the mood of the piece. I have some piano, acoustic guitar, and some orchestra strings in my composition. My composition may be too short right now so I may add more by the last post.

The title of my piece is Alternative Feeling. My title is influenced by how the mood in my piece changes from dark and sad, to somewhat mellow happiness. The final instrumentation in the piece is acoustic guitar followed by a D# and C note on piano. The piano gives the piece an ending. I think all of the instruments have a crucial role because they all have sounds that represent the contrast of the moods. The piano in the beginning starts alone and the guitar at the end is also playing alone, those two may be the most crucial because the piano starts off with the darkness and the guitar ends with a calmness. One thing the audience should listen for in my piece is how the piece goes from minor to major and back to minor again.
