Kevin Parker, the man behind Tame Impala has always been one of my biggest influences within and even outside of the music industry. The reason he is one of my all-time greatest influences is because of his diverse range of skills and talent. He records and produces every instrument for every song that he creates and also collaborates and mixes albums for many big artists such as Travis Scott, Kanye West, Rihanna and many others. Kevin Parker has encouraged me to always listen to a diverse range of genres as he seems to work with so many different styles and even within his own music, he has grown from being a psychedelic-rock band into a more pop like sound while still drawing elements from most other genres.
Another inspiring trait i draw from this artist is his ability to be personal and reclusive with his own music but then also is able to collaborate with so many artists in such a good way.

Lil Peep (Gustav Elijah Åhr), is an American rapper who has greatly influenced me in the past few years especially because of the way peep was involved in the creation of the rap sub-genre 'emo-rap'. Peep had a hard upbringing which came out through his dark emo style lyrics and he creatively combined these themes with trap style beats that used heavy sampling which created an extremely unique style and was almost like a new genre.
As the new style gained popularity around 2016, groups were made and Peep was in GothBoiClique which i find extremely inspiring as it strongly supports and promotes collaboration within groups while also allowing the artists to have complete control of their own individual brands.

Stu Mackenzie is most well known for being frontman of the Aussie band King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard.
The band he leads have been active since the early 2010's and they have been very diverse, covering many genres such as Jazz, Blues, Psychedelic Rock, Electronic and Thrash Metal, this is what i admire most about the band but what i find particularly inspiring about Stu is his projects outside the band. Stu mixes and produces all of his own albums as well as all of the artists on his record label 'Flightless Records'. Stu and his band decided to create the record label to support the Australian music industry which i believe is very influential and inspiring to me.

I feel similar to Kevin Parker in the way that he was inspired by Silverchair to start playing drums and eventually decide that he wanted to be in a band. He said in an interview "Grunge gave me a sense of identity and I remember really associating with Silverchair, who were these chilled-out Australian teenagers. The fact that they were teenagers was a big deal for me." This shows that Parker had his first strong musical connection to this band and their music in the Grunge genre which is very similar to the way i fell in love with Nirvana when i was very young.
Kevin Parker even said that the Silverchair album Freakshow was what 'Made him want to make music'.

Odd Future is an unexpected choice for one of Parkers influences but he said in an interview that "They're not feeling confined it's refreshing."
He also went on to explain that Odd Futures ability to do and say whatever they wanted in their songs encouraged him to put more of his own personality into his songs without worrying about being judged. This inspires me because it is showing that people shouldn't be scared to express themselves through their art because they feel that they need to conform to societal expectations.

Parker mentioned in an interview "Mark’s a big reason why I had the confidence to do what I did with Currents, He showed me how pop music could have such a craft to it." This quote shows the true weight of Ronson's influence on Parker, it mentions that Ronson showed him how to appreciate pop music, this was around the time he transitioned from Psy-Rock to Pop.

Blink-182 were a punk band in the 90's and early 2000's which was when Peep was growing up, because of his hard upbringing he really connected to the heavier sounds of punk like Blink-182 and it can really be heard through his lyrics even down to the tone of his voice.
