Everyone was helping each other out, putting flags on their cars or houses, and going to people's funerals. My second piece of information I learned was that children were very affected by this too. How? She said,"“Yes, ever since 9/11 I feel like my safety has been compromised. Whenever I walk into a store or restaurant I am always more on guard and aware of my surroundings.”
 That made a big impact on me because it made me realize that after 9/11 happened everyone was scared to go places by themselves and that they didn't feel safe.
Second, I had a question asking what 9/11 symbolized to my family, the answer I got was important because it taught me that through rough times America's unite and work through it.
