You can turn this into:

When you write the first draft of a scene, let it flow. “Pour it out like cheap champagne. You’ll make it sparkle later, but first you must get it down on the paper.”

Drop words. By taking out a single word here and there, it creates a feeling of “realness” and authenticity to your dialogue. This helps your dialogue sound natural, yet is “lean and meaningful”; it leaves the feeling of real speech.
