My Definition of Music.

I define music as simply sounds put together to form a rhythm or beat made by instruments or voices. Music can be for everyone based on their favorite type of genre(s). I listen to music on a regular basis at these moments: getting ready to go out, working out, studying, and before I go to sleep. My music is a variety of genres like country, pop, hip hop, alternative, indie, and rap. Depending on my mood, I will mostly listen to pop or alternative. Music is needed for my everyday life. It makes me feel better whenever I am in a good or bad mood. Moreover, music can be relatable for the listeners which makes the listeners feel like they’re not alone. The performances of music are special to me because it sets me free from my daily life. My Padlet illustrates my encounter with music and its effects that it has on me. Overall, the music in my life has the power of taking me into another world in which I am content and free.
