         <description><![CDATA[<div>Northern Flying Squirrels are one third larger than the southern species. <br>Northern Flying Squirrels are brown on their backs, which fades into a white patch on their bellies. <br>They have large eyes to help them see at night, and their extended fold of skin, or "wings", doesn't actually help them fly but it helps them glide. </div>]]></description>

Human impacts include, habitat destruction, introduced exotic pests, recreational and residential development, and<br>pollution. <br>There are no criminal activities associated with this animal.</div>]]></description>
