First of all, the main idea is that, since the ancient times, we have been connected with food and this situation has caused several revolutions and changes.
The problem is that, nowadays, we eat based on Taylorist idearium (capitalism) in which "working" (to be productive and work) is more essential than "eating" (to eat healthy and slowly).
Finally, this condition has produced the current illness/diseases, such as, obesity and overweight that cause jokes and discrimination toward fat people.
The author proposes that if we do not like this situation we have to change it.

By:
Isaac Pérez and Jennifer Magraner

The ways of eating have changed over the years since we started feeding. One of the greatest changes is the agriculture, as it made us sedentary and made the population increase.

Since we found new foods and changed our daily lives (schedules, jobs...) and the introduction of the transgenic food industry has caused diseases associated with our way of eating.

The new ways of feeding have caused social inequalities since the lower class access to cheaper foods and these do not contain the same benefits as fresh food. While the higher classes have access to these fresh foods. That is why the lower classes suffer more illness associated with obesity because of the lack of health-beneficial foods.

If you want to change the way you eat you have to start cooking healthy food and do not use junk foods.

In this text, we find the relationships we maintain with what we eat. In addition, we can find the different stages and how food has evolved in our society.

The human diet has changed over the years and for 150 years it has been a purely secondary habit which is considered less important than other activities.

Nowadays, society aims to acquire extreme thinness as an image of beauty and obesity is what we reject and is associated with families with few resources, since less healthy foods are the most economical and healthy ones are access to families with a high purchasing power.

In addition, we want to emphasize that our society comes as it lives, reflecting our food as a way of life: "Our time to eat is the capital industrial time, fast, routine and efficient."

This text treats the different changes that we have suffered along the history in the supply, happening from the nomadism to the sedentarism. Nowadays, we do not find in a consumer company and that the lack of time provokes that we do not dedicate the sufficient time to a good supply. Due to the capitalist system, we have turned the supply into a business that the big brands exploit daily, producing big quantities of food, which surrender to different chemical processes what provokes that the quality of the food diminishes. Since consequence we do not come to the consumption of the whole production and waste big quantities of food.

Due to the lack of time the company looks for the comfort and the rapidity, which has provoked an increase of the supply based on precooked kitchen and shown restraint garbage. These products are characterized by high places contained in fat and slightly advisable for the health, promoting a sedentary life and the obesity. These problems appear for the most part in the lowest social classes due to the lack of economic resources, since the qualit food is more expensive. In conclusion, in spite of all the resources which we have nowadays, there is promoted a slightly healthy supply to which we do not dedicate the sufficient time and reverberates directly in our health.
