1. My ideas about teaching primary learners haven't changed because I always use activities that make children excited and curious about English. All my students participate actively to my classes.Even if my opinions are same, I have learned so many things here. I noticed the importance of classroom management one more time. To prevent chaos in the classroom, we should give short and clear instructions. The idea of using colorful cards while switching our student's places is fun. I will adapt them in my classes.

2. The first activity I will use in my PDC meetings is preparing a poster. Some of our colleagues don't believe the importance of colloborating. They think that preparing a poster is time consuming. However, today I have seen that colloborating and sharing are precious. They can let their students make posters after covering the topic if they can be part of this activity. So, it helps children to have classroom consciousness. Obviously, describe and draw/memory game are the activities I like most. These games can be adapted in any topic. They like memory games and competition. Thus, I will certainly use these activities in my PDC meetings.

1.What do you needs to be adapted most in your coursebooks to help children improve their oral skills? 2. If you were running PDC meeting on improving oral skills, which suggestions from the training would be useful to include?

1. In our coursebooks, there are many visuals irrelevant to the listening texts. Also, there are not pre-while-post listening activities. I would use pictures before listening to teach the vocabulary. It will help students to understand the text better. I would add tongue twisters and chants to teach vocabulary, structure or pronunciation. They are memorable and fun.
2. I would include onion rings and talking lines. With the help of them, each teacher comes face to face with another. They can express their thoughts and find a solution for teaching problems. Also, talking line is a fine activity to share our experience and it is an opportunity to learn a new technique from our colleagues.

1. We don't have these types of activities in our books. However, we can add activities to practice the relationship between sounds and letters. We can add visuals successively. The feature of these visuals are they start with the same sound. For instance, chocolate, chicken, chips start with the same sound. We can boldface 'ch' to show how to pronounce. We should choose pictures that students have already known so that they know how to pronounce and read the word.
2. Shared reading attracts students. Most of our students like reading comics, stories and fairytales. If they can be part of this reading, they will enjoy,as well. Asking questions about the story keeps them awake. Also, using gestures and mimes will make them excited and they will wonder the rest of the story.
3. Students can sometimes have difficulties with understanding. It may be because of the unknown vocabulary or lack of visuals and background knowledge. I would discuss whether the reading activities in our coursebook is suitable or not for our primary learners and ask my participants how to adapt . I would use 'pass the papers' activity to learn their opions. We can discuss if the sentence or text is meaningful or not. Moreover, we can add pre-while-post activities to make reading more meaningful.

1. The number of students in the class makes hard to control and manage the activity. We have to divide the class into groups to save time because it takes too much time to do activities one by one. If the class doesn't have routines , students feel insecure and start misbehaving. If the teacher doesn't set up the rules with her students at the beginning of the year, students doesn't know how to behave in activites. If the teacher doesn't give short, simple and clear instruction, students know how to behave, too.
2. It would be useful and I would ask my colleagues how they cope with the problems they face with.
3. I would include chat stations. It is a good way of making pairs. We can both discuss the problems with our partners and see different problems, as well. We have a chance to share our opinions and find solutions for the problems. Also, we can learn new ways to cope with them.

1. Setting up the rules would be useful. If we don't set up the rules with our students at the beginning of the year, there will be chaos. Students should know what is expected from them . To manage activities, setting rules are important. I would also use stirer and settler for balance.
2. We can use pompoms to underline positive behaviours. Students will listen the instructuons and complete the tasks properly to get rewards. Also, we can use mirror game to make our students feel relaxed. I would use imperatives and give clear instructions while grouping.
3. I think the 5R is critical elements of classroom management. Rules, routines, relationship, responsibility and rewards are important for managing the activities. To be able to build self esteem and confidence, I will try to not put pressure on them to speak.

1. Sometimes, we as english teachers complain about the lack of opportunities. For instance, we generally can't speak in English because there is noone around us who knows English. Even in our primary schools, there is only one English teacher. It means there is no sharing. With this PDC meetings, we will have a chance to share, find solutions for our problems in the class.
2. We are so lucky that before we go back to our schools, we are preparing our PDC program in here with our teacher trainers. They give us feedback to correct our mistakes. They recommend us how to do better PDCs. Because we present our PDCs here, we will have a chance to see what problems we might have and immediately we can change the activity.
