What is YOUR definition?
- Martin Annen: With the flipped classroom method, pure information transfer is outsourced in self-study phases. In classroom teaching the teacher acts as a coach for an interactive solution of concrete problems.
-
Titus Guldimann
Learners themselves acquire knowledge through videos and digital documents. Afterwards, tasks and problems are solved in the classroom with different methods.
- Johanna Bleiker
«Flipped classroom» means a type of learning (and teaching) that reverses the traditional learning environment by delivering instructional content outside of the classroom. In-class activities on the other hand include instead of mere instruction for example original document analysis, debate or speech presentation, current event discussions, peer reviewing, etc.
