         <description><![CDATA[<div>The purpose of the protocol is to examine and reflect on instructional practices regarding productive struggle in students.<br><br><strong>Strengths:</strong> reading materials, the multitude of videos and their constant availability, individual processing time before sharing out, sharing out opportunities, individual time for writing and reflecting<br><strong>Weaknesses:</strong> give other resources besides NCTM<br><strong>Resources Used:</strong> Both NCTM videos and classroom videos were used. The experiences with both were positive and will be used again this year. NCTM has several videos in the tool kit for the Principles to Action book which allows teachers to use different videos for this protocol. No further resources are requested at this time.<br><br>The protocol seems to be in good working order<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- overall it is a good protocol that is relatively intuitive and gives people a chance to realize their common experience<br>-people tend to focus on recent experiences (perhaps a tool to help teachers capture their experiences more regularly so that they can remember what they want to share)<br>-make sure that the troubleshooting piece is not lost in the sharing of successes and challenges (maybe even as a separate action item)<br>-remind teachers that these are successes and challenges (not complaints about students preparation, attititude, etc.)<br>-something similar to last year's&nbsp; "submission to leaders" format would be great<br><br></div>]]></description>
