1. The song connects to the plot of Romeo and Juliet because it uses those names and the line 'And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet."' showed that the Montagues just don't like the Capulets. The difference was that this was a happy ending (Romeo married Juliet).
2. I like the song because it simply sounds nice. And catchy, like Fafa said.

1. The song connects to the ending of Romeo and Juliet because it said 'When you gonna realise it was just that the time was wrong, Juliet?' showing that Romeo knows that it was bad timing: Romeo saw Juliet 'dead', poisons himself, Juliet wakes up, sees Romeo dead for real, stabs herself. Real bad timing.
2. I don't like the song much because there isn't much singing, more just reading stuff off a page.

Maria - West Side Story

1. The song connects to the plot of Romeo and Juliet because the man is singing about how much he loves a girl she met at the party-like occasion, like how Romeo and Juliet met.
2. I'm fine with the song, except every time he says Maria, because it's simply too repetitive. (That person: 'I WILL NEVER STOP SAYING MARIAAAAAAAA')

Just Like Romeo and Juliet - The Reflections

1. This song connects to the plot of Romeo and Juliet because it says 'Our love's gonna be destroyed like a tragedy' like Romeo and Juliet.
2. I don't like this song much, although it's not that bad. This is because when I listened to Maria it wasn't loud so I turned up the volume, and then Just Like Romeo and Juliet just killed my ears right at the start. 👂🪦
