Hi everyone! Above is one of my favorite photos with my wife and our fluffy Golden Retriever, Rice, who is now 4 years old.

I’m Zhuo Zhang, the course instructor and an assistant professor at Towson University. I teach courses on learning technology and research methodology, and my research focuses on digital learning, metacognition, and data mining. My favorite food is sushi!

A fun fact about me is that I studied civil engineering for nearly eight years before deciding to pursue a PhD in educational technology and psychology. This journey ultimately led me to discover my true passion!

This is a picture that was recently taken. I was nominated for outstanding teacher of the year for the 2024 school year. I attended an award ceremony for hundreds of other Carroll County Public Schools (CCPS) teachers.

My name is Alexandria "Allie" Johnson. I work as a Special Education Resource Teachers. This is my 5th year teaching. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a Flemish Giant bunny. I also work as a bartender on the side. I love Italian and Chinese food.

I used to dance on a competitive all-star dance team. I went to Worlds in Disney 2 times and met teams from all over the world!

My name is Hannah Henderson and I am currently a full time graduate student in the Music Education program at Towson. I am also a full-time Graduate Assistant for the Music Education department. I am not currently teaching, but from 2022-2024 I was a high school band/chorus teacher in the Outer Banks!

I recently met Dave Matthews and played card games with him for the rest of the time he was at the event.

This picture was taken last year on the first day of school. I just had changed grades and was extremely nervous. It turned out to be the best thing and I love teaching math all day long now!

My name is Bryn Daly and I am a 4th/5th advanced math teacher in BCPS. I am getting my masters in instructional technology and really love implementing what I've learned in class into my own classroom. It has enhanced my teaching and organization incredibly. My favorite food is pizza.

A fun fact about me is that I try to do something new once a month. This month in March I tried singing Karaoke and it was not for me!!! In April, I plan to try gardening!

Hello! This is a photo that was recently taken on a trip to New York City with my mom, sister, and myself. It is a special photo because it reminds me of the quality time we got to spend together, and that I had the opportunity to see my first show on Broadway.

My name is Delia Launi. This is my 5th year as a 3rd grade teacher in MCPS. I studied Elementary Education at UMD College Park. I am hoping to finish my Masters in Instructional Technology next spring. I have a sweet tooth, so my favorite food is ice cream!

My fun fact is that my favorite hobby is running. I ran the Baltimore half marathon 2 years ago, and plan to start training soon for my first full marathon this fall.

A surprising fact about me is that I am a certified medical assistant. Before pursuing a career in education, I became a certified medical assistant and worked in hospitals and doctor's offices.
