         <description><![CDATA[<div>Slido is an interactive add-on that allows you to add quizzes, polls, word clouds, and Q&amp;A's to your lesson. <br><br>Slido also offers analytics that help gage popular topics, student interaction, and overall reception of the lesson. <br><br>This is a great tool to get students participating during lessons.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Nearpod allows every lesson to be interactive. You can upload any of your lesson resources and add in media, formative assessments, open-ended questions, polls and draw ins. <br><br>This is a favorite for teachers because of how easy it is. You don't need to re-create any lessons, and you just add on your chosen interactions. <br><br>This is a great tool for classes where you feel you have "silent listeners." It gives students' a chance to interact and show their knowledge without having to speak over video.          <description><![CDATA[<div>ClassDojo is a communication platform that students, teachers, and parents use to stay up to date on what is being learned in the classroom. <br><br>Teachers are able to post updates on what students are learning, student accomplishments, and student work. This platform is a great way to get parents involved in student learning and allows them to see exactly what their kids are working on. <br><br>The features include posting pictures, videos, and a messaging tool. What is unique about this platform is the fact that teachers are able to send parents direct messages. It is a great tool to get students up and active first thing in the morning. With teacher and parent permission, classes can interact with other classes worldwide. Teachers monitor all activity, and can approve or deny posts that students make to the blog. This is a safe space for students to share their writing to a real audience, something that students do not always have the opportunity to do.&nbsp;<br><br>KidBlog also gives students the opportunity to keep an online portfolio of their work.          <description><![CDATA[<div>GoFormative is a great tool for assessing students. What is unique about this platform is the fact that teachers can watch their students progress as they work. This allows teachers to see when students are confused or stuck. <br><br>Teachers can create assessments by importing stories from their computer. Then, they can add questions and comments that students will be able to respond to as they work. It is compatible with Google Classroom so teachers can import all of their students from the same platform. <br><br>This is a great website to track student work. Once a student submits an assignment, it will go into a folder where all of their previous work is scored.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Padlet is a digital tool used as a "virtual sticky-note board".This digital notice board is able to feature images, links, videos, and documents, all displayed on a "wall" that can be made public or private. It is easily accessible because it is all in one place, and there are multiple ways that it can be organized and designed. <br><br>Students will have the ability to post sticky notes, comment on notes, and "like" them. There are two main types of Parlay discussions: The Online RoundTable and the Live RoundTable. <br><br>Online RoundTable:<br>-Written discussion <br>-Students can anonymously share their ideas and comment on each others<br>-Collects class wide data for you about student responses and engagement<br><br>Live RoundTable:<br>-Verbal discussion<br>-Students tap in when they have something to say<br>Video demonstration: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jfo1zZ1VTwg">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jfo1zZ1VTwg</a><br><br>This is an excellent tool to keep the conversation going. Students have four options when they decide they want to "tap in" and share out loud as part of the discussion. They can choose from: New Idea, Build on, Challenge, and Question.
