The Holocaust began, and the Jews began to be persecuted and separated by the Nazis, when Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party came to power in Germany.

1938 - The Ghettos

The creation of ghettos during the Holocaust was an important step in the Nazi strategy to divide, persecute, and exterminate the Jewish population of Europe. Jews were forced to move into the ghettos, where the living conditions were miserable.

1939 - Einsatzgruppen

The elite group created by the Nazis to round-up and kill Jews, they brought the Jews and forced them to give all the value thing that they had and take off their clothes. These squads killed around 2 million people.

1942 - The Death Camps

The Nazis decided making death camps would be much faster, Hitler referred to it as “the final solution”

Although the Einsatzgruppen squads managed to kill around 2 million people, the valuable resources they used were too many, so Hitler came up with the idea of making death camps.

1945 - The Nuremberg Trials

After the World War II, most of the top Nazis received death sentences, while others were imprisoned. Einsatzgruppen and camp leaders were executed
