In order to create an effective CIP it is important to start with a vision. How will you campus look? What are you looking to achieve? After answering that, conduct a CNA. In order to know what your starting point is and where you need to go, strong research needs to be conducted in order to find strengths/weaknesses of the campus (Pipkin, 2015). Next, identify goals/objectives that are "concise, measurable, and achievable" (Pipkin, 2015, para. 8). Fourth, outline the specific action steps that will help you reach each goal/objective (Pipkin, 2015). Lastly, involve ALL stakeholders through the CIP process (Pipkin, 2015).

Stakeholders: District Leadership, teachers, paraprofessionals, school staff, parents, and community members.
