I appreciate the study tips you gave us. I think they will really help me so I can be better prepared for next year and in college. I think it is really interesting the different ways each of you have gone about things. It is neat to see how students pursuing the same career handle situations in different ways. I especially found it interesting how you both managed studying and home life differently and in ways that were conducive to your situation. It gave me wonderful insight as to how planning is key when you are in a stressful situation and need to balance everything. I learned so much about med school and the experiences you both have had. I admire you and look up to you for your determination and positive mindsets during some of the hardest years of your life. You made it very clear that it is not bad to fail or mess up it is only and opportunity to grow and better yourself. When that was talked about it really opened my eyes because you both are at the highest level of education and for you to have the mindset makes me believe in myself more. Even though I am not going to be a doctor and am not planning on going to med school, I plan on taking a lot the things you said with me in the future wherever I go. I appreciate how personal and detailed the conversation was. Most of what you talked about was very relatable to us. I loved the advice you all gave to us about forgiving ourselves and being able to accept rejection. I know it is something I sometimes struggle with and I need to work on that. Working on our weaknesses and being consistent with schedule was also an advice I will use for the rest of my life. I think it is a solid piece of advice and also the key to succeed in any career. Once again, thank you very much for coming and talking to us. It was a honor. Maybe I should have gotten a biography from you all. That's just how much we appreciate you both.

I thought that the information about needing new study habits and having an open mind going into it was helpful to know. Also when both of you were talking about why you wanted to be OB/GYNs I thought it was interesting because you both had good and different reasons as to why you wanted to do it. This presentation really opened my eyes up to how difficult and scary medical school can be, but not in a bad way. It just gave me more information that can help me with my future. Again, thank you both so much for coming to our class it was a good and helpful experience to learn from current students!
