         <description><![CDATA[<p>Nathan Xiong</p><p>William Warren</p><p><br/></p><p>CAHSS: 10.5: Students analyze the causes and the course of the First World War.</p><p><br/></p><p>First Lesson: Lecture, analyze how the leaders of the countries argued and how that led to WWI. The beginnings of WWI. </p><p><br/></p><p>Second Lesson: Stations activity. Give a worksheet to students, and have several stations. Each station has an event or picture, each group is at a station and they have to answer the questions based on the station. After time limit, groups rotate.</p><p><br/></p><p>Third Lesson: Can talk about the major battles, major events, major turning points that occurred during WWI, new military technologies. (Ex. Verdun, Somme). Can talk about military advancements, tank, introduction of planes, machine guns, poison gas, submarines, trench warfare.</p><p><br/></p><p>Learning goals: </p>]]></description>
