When i was either 6 or 8 i cant remember,  I had to play in front of a whole bunch of people at my violin teachers music store. I was really nervous because all the other students and their families were going to be watching me. When it was my turn i had butterflies in my stomach and i really wanted to leave. When it came for me to play i was so nervous to go up on the tiny stage but as soon as the background music started i felt safe and i started to feel confident. I played with all my heart and soul because i felt relaxed and I'm really glad i didn't back out of the concert because music has really helped me relax and realize if i stop worrying so much and just try things wont turn out so bad. In my grade 6 art class i started to really like art just like i had liked music so much. After i quit violin i didn't know what i liked and i didn't have something that helped my anxiety. Especially with being in a new school i was really anxious all the time and i became even more shy and more quiet. Art really helped me and i found i had a passion for it.
