I learned to read by first listening to my parents' read to my sister and I. I vaguely remember it being something that I enjoyed. I started out by first reading a few words on the page and having my mom help me pronounce the words that I wasn't sure of. Eventually, I was able to start reading books of various skill levels on my own. I remember being very frustrated at first, but was I started getting the hang of it, it became something I enjoyed. I enjoy reading for fun now, but I am still not a fan of reading for class.

I learned to read when I was in Kindergarten. Knowing all my letters and constantly be read to at home really helped me with reading. I remember it came really easy to me and I think it was because I was getting support not only at school, but also at home. I always had a positive experience with it and was always motivated to read especially out loud to the whole class. I LOVE reading now. I'm a pretty fast reader because of all the practicing I did as a child and I just finished all the Harry Potter books in about a month.

I learned to read, by my mom reading with me when I was younger, and working through my local library's summer reading program. I actually did not like reading when I was little, but as I got older the more interested I became. I became more positive about it and now I like to read in my free time.

I learned how to read when my mom or dad would read to me or my brother when we were younger. I was wondering how could they be able to do that and I couldn’t do I started to really get engaged to try to learn to read. Growing up I used to love to read in elementary school and middle school. But as I went into high school and beyond I haven’t read as much as I used to fo
