Mrs. Ribbicono has the room set up with learning areas that welcomes all different types of learning. The students sit in clusters, but she has a half circle table, a row of computers, and two extra tables.

The room decorated in a warm and welcoming way. The colors are soft, there are positive messages around the room, cute decorations, soft lighting, and photos that show her students and family.

The door is constantly opening and closing. The students consider her room to be a safe place so when there is an issue, they come to her. She makes them feel loved and does everything she can to help make the situation better.

There are cute candy jars for students to pick their favorite candy out of when they complete certain assignments or behave really well.

There is something called “lion points”. If a student does something that exceeds expectations, she can write their name on a piece of paper and put it into the raffle. Every month the principal picks 10 pieces of paper from the whole school to win a prize.

The class joined another class to start a food drive for Houston. That uses project-based learning, and also community-based learning since they found the problem, put efforts towards solving the problem, and are helping the community all by starting this fundraiser for the school to contribute to those in need.
