Cloning

Animals:

Most important thing in cloning animals is that they are able to produce products, such as milk. Though it is shocking, that even if those clones make it to birth, which may take 100 tries, they die young. I agree, that cloning animals could help with food productivity, which would really help, as the human population increases. I agree, that it could save some endangered animals. But I disagree with pet cloning. And I disagree with extinct animals, such as dinosaurs, getting cloned.

Humans:

Most important thing in cloning humans is that it disagrees with human notion. It is shocking, that scientist are even thinking about cloning humans. I agree with human stem cell harvesting, because they could be used to study human development and to treat disease. I agree, that human cloning is incompatible with the notion of a humane civilization. Idisagree , that human cloning would help humanity, because there are many other people who are as talented as the ones that the scientists are thinking of getting cloned. And i dissagree, that clone would be the same as the human, that was cloned, because the thing that makes human – human, are the things in life that he goes through.

Dogs:

Most important thing in cloning drug-sniffing dogs is that they can actually smell drugs as same as the dog that was cloned, and because of that it is really helpfull for people who investigate those kind of things. But it is shocking that the price for doing this is $239,000. I agree, that cloned dogs, that can smell drugs are helpfull for people. I agree, that the procentage of dogs, that can smell drugs could be increased in the future. But i disagree, that this should happen, because by doing this people might use this as an advantage for them selves. And i disagree, that this would really change anything, because drug transporters would find other ways of transfering drugs.

Gyvūnų klonavimo tekste stebina tai, kad Jungtinių Valstijų vyriausybė aiškiai sako, kad geriausias klonuotų gyvūnų pienas ir mėsa yra saugūs. Tačiau aš nesutinku su šiuo teiginiu, nes manau, kad reikia iš anksto pažymėti, jog reikėtų atlikti daugiau tyrimų su klonuotais gyvūnais. Naujas faktas yra tas, kad net ir dabar mokslininkai klonavo 11 skirtingų gyvūnų, įskaitant avis, karves, kiaules ir arklius. Labiausiai šokiravo tai, kad prireikė maždaug 100 bandymų, kai motinos viduje galėjo išsivystyti tik vienas embrionas. Aš visiškai sutinku, kad net jei klonas yra genetiškai beveik identiškas, jis vis tiek augs savo asmenybe ir elgesiu. Įdomus faktas buvo ir tai, kad norint klonuoti gyvūnus kaip karvę,
Labiausiai nustebino straipsnis apie šunų klonavimą tai, kad visi klonai buvo pavadinti tuo pačiu pavadinimu „Toppy“. Mano nuomone, jie visi yra skirtingi ir turėtų turėti atskirus pavadinimus, todėl nesutinku su šiuo faktu. Labiausiai sukrėtė tai, kad tik 30 procentų natūraliai gimusių šunų paprastai gali išlaikyti reikiamą dresūrą, tačiau Pietų Korėjos mokslininkai tikisi, kad klonuodami geriausias šunų veisles, jie galės tai pagerinti iki 90 procentų. Įdomu tai, kad 2007 m. Šeši gerai apmokyti šuniukai buvo klonuoti iš Kanados labradoro retriverio.
Žmogaus klonavimo straipsnyje teigiama, kad yra trys klonavimo tipai: rekombinantinė DNR technologija, reprodukcinis klonavimas ir terapinis klonavimas. Man tai buvo naujas dalykas. Būtent šis teiginys paskatino perskaityti toliau pateiktą straipsnį. Straipsnis nustebino, kad daugelis mokslininkų tikisi, jog vieną dieną kamieninės ląstelės gali būti naudojamos kaip pakaitinės ląstelės gydant širdies ligas, Alzheimerio ligą, vėžį ir kitas ligas. Tačiau kyla klausimas, ar klonuoti asmenys gali turėti asmeninį privatumą. Mano nuomone, jei visada priklausysite nuo laboratorijų ir įvairių tyrimų. Labiausiai šokiravo tai, kad didžioji dauguma išgyvenusių klonuotų gyvūnų turėjo sunkių apsigimimų ir patyrė nenumatytą mirtį.

I agree that dogs are basically like extra help in finding a smuggler, they help people discover drugs faster because their sense of smell can save people more time, and these innovations would change the future of humans, but I also disagree with that, because dogs are not stuff, it is a living organism that, without the knowledge of others, maybe tortured until the results come that cloned dogs smell faster than naturally born dogs.
I was surprised that all the clone brothers and sisters have the same name Toppy , the 1930s style word "tomorrow" and "puppy",well and it's really interesting how, by saying the same name, dogs reacted when the dog was not alone and not several,all the more so as dogs are accustomed to having one master, whom only he has to take care of and not other dogs.
I do not agree with human cloning, although that perfect human clone will be created, it will not replace humans anyway, because clone thinking and communication will be different, they may look the same, but they would not change the actual human communication,unless they are used only in could perform several duties instead.And I was surprised that as an adult clone, feeling bad, you can anticipate imminent death, can acquire a birth defect that you will not eliminate in any way.

Animal cloning: After reading the article about animal cloning I didn't find anything surprising because I already knew this. But I do agree and disagree with some aspect of cloning. Firstly I agree that cloned animal's produce is placed in stores for people to buy. Aswell I agree with cloning animals that have good genes. Like said in the article "If scientists could clone those exceptional cows, fewer cows would be needed to make milk" and I fully stand by that. But as I wrote before I am concerned with some aspects of cloning. Mainly I have ethical concerns of cloning. Aswell as I'm concerned about cloning of animals even though we haven't fully understood how cloning is even possible.

With animal clothing i disagree, they suffer all their lives. They get infections and other diseases. And their only purpose on life is to be killed for food. I think cloning needs to be stopped.

Cloning human embryos has been possible for nearly seven years. Yet as far as I know, during that time no one has made a cloned baby or, apparently, has tried to make one. And what I find most surprising is that no one has announced they intend to make one.I do not support human cloning because we are all different and I think that is very good.

Livestock species that scientists have successfully cloned are cattle, swine, sheep, and goats. Scientists have also cloned mice, rats, rabbits, cats, mules, horses and one dog. Plants are often cloned - when you take a cutting, you are producing a clone. Human identical twins are also clones.

Animal cloning:
As i was reading the article, i coulnd't find anything surprising, because I know what cloning is. I learned it during my biology lessons. And here's what I agree with: cloning can save lots of endangered species all around the world, so that us, people, could experience some new encounters with lots of different animals, this could lead us to a better understanding of those endangered animals and also to fix our mistakes by endangering those species close to extinction in the first place, the other thing that I agree with is to increase productivity in milk, meats and other things, because our worlds human population is rapidly growing, and without the clones we are going to drive other important animals like cows, pigs, chickens and etc. extinction.
And I am against cloning because:
Cloned animal are dying young which kind of upsets me in a way, that they don't get to live out their live, take a human for example, you wouldn't lone another human and let him die young, You would ty your best to save him, but in this situation, scientists are prolly ain't doing nothing to increase the lifespan of cloned animal, they only really care about mass productivity and that's what I disagree with, I guess.

I agree with:
Trying to enhance our human bodies via cloning, because then we could adapt to climate changes even faster, or become stronger and more durable.
Trying to bring cloned humans into existence, so that therefore we could learn how cloning affect our thinking and our emotional intellect.
And I disagree with:
Therapeutical cloning, because they want to use real human embryos as a cure for some diseases, I don't care who You are, but You do not have a right to take away human life for some experimentation.
I also disagree with using human embryos as a cream or something like that, to make your skin younger, which I heard there things like this, we all get old, get over it.

Animal cloning:
Animals that are cloned doesn't live that long than the animal that are born in the natural way. The good point is for faster reproduction of animal products like meat, fur, leather etc. For the breeders its the easies way to breed another level animals. I mean better genes (DNA), like for example horses, you can gain very fast hors or most stamina one. For the endangered species its the only way to save them and recreate them.
I think in the future it will be like a normal thing and we won't be bothered by it.

Human cloning:
Human cloning is a recreation of the original one. The goal is to harvest stem cells that can be used to study human development and to treat disease. And its the best thing. We can have immunity from deadly disease and continue our way for a long period of time.

After reading given articles, many things were surprising, because l didn't know much off the stuff that's been said.

Animal cloning:
Importance: Cloning allows farmers and ranchers to accelerate the reproduction of their most productive livestock in order to better produce safe and healthy food.
Cloning gives opportunity for farmers to accelerate the reproduction of their best, most productive animals in order to produce more food, and do it efficiently.

Cloning reproduces the healthiest animals, thus minimizing the use of antibiotics, growth hormones and other chemicals.

Most surprising:
There are many downsides for this:
Clones face some serious problems: They are much more likely than other animals to be miscarried, have birth defects, develop serious illnesses, and die prematurely.

I can't agree with many things said in the article, because cloned animals can suffer a lot.
For us humans there are many benefits, but not for the animals.

Human cloning:

Cloning humans can give us a lot of benefits, for example we could become stronger, more intelligent and adaptable.

It can also teach us a lot how cloning would affect us, physically and psychologically

I disagree with therapeutical cloning, because there is 0 benefit of taking humans live only for experimentation.

Animal cloning: the most important thing is that people can recreate the exact animals milk, meat and other resources. It’s an efficient, useful way to do so.The shocking thing is that cloned animals can be altered using science to remove their illnesses and bad qualities. I aggree with cloning animals because this is a great step for humanity’s future and economy, and people can clone their beloved pets that had passed away. What I don’t agree with is that these animals tend to live much shorter and don’t get to live their life to the fullest. They can also develop new, uknown diseases, that are specifically from cloned animals.

Human cloning: what was suprising to me that such thing even exists. Of course, humanity continues to create new inventions and advancements as time goes by, but human cloning still sounds shocking and like something from a fantasy movie about far future. But time goes by and this has finally become possible. I partly agree with human cloning because people can recreate their dead relatives, friends or someone who was important to them. With cloning you can genetically alter DNA and get rid of illnesses or disorders that you don’t want to be passed onto your children. I disagree because this is morally wrong, people will start wanting to have “perfect” babies, and people will feel like they’re living with robots, and people who are cloned will feel out of place. They will also have a shorter life.
