In out text, this section covers various forms of prison violence such as Riots, prison rape, segregation and prison gangs. We fail to realize that these issues are resurfacing or in some places have never disappeared. In the podcast, the inmates would mention that the politics must be followed to avoid any form of violence and to keep the peace. It is like they are forced to conform to these strict rules. But, in some cases, like being transferred to another prison, these rules may not exist. How hard do you think it must be for an inmate to return back to society after being treated in such conditions as mentioned in this episode.
