         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Cumbia Villera</strong>:Originating in the late 1990s in the marginal neighborhoods of the northern area of Greater Buenos Aires, the cumbia villera stands out for its urban lyrics and a crisis that was affecting Argentines who also address issues such as exposing corrupt politicians and police , sex, drugs, alcohol and crime with direct and foul language,Pablo Lescano is pointed out as the creator of the cumbia villera since he was the one who recorded, in August 1999, the first CD of Flor de Piedra11. In the year 2000, numerous bands of this style emerged such as Damas Gratis -a flagship band of the movement of which Pablo Lescano is a vocalist and keyboardist-, Mala Fama and Meta Guacha, to which others such as Pibes Chorros, Re Piola, Pala Ancha, Los Gedes and Supermerk2.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Cumbia Santafesina:</strong>The Santa Fe cumbia is a musical style that emerged in Santa Fe, Argentina. It is distinguished by having the guitar as its main instrument. Another distinctive characteristic of the Santa Fe cumbia with respect to other subgenres of the rest of the Argentine cumbia is that its lyrics have mainly romantic themes.</div><div>Santa Cecilia cumbia began in the mid-1960s with the creation of Grupo Santa Cecilia, who adapted the Colombian cumbia introduced to the country by groups such as the Imperial Quartet, with a distinctive Italian and Polish influence (Los Palmeras, Yuli and Los Girasoles)</div><div><br><br></div><div><strong>Cumbia Norteña:</strong>In this subgenre of Argentine cumbia, the use of the electric guitar predominates. It is executed by groups from the northern provinces of Argentina such as Catamarca, La Rioja, Jujuy, Salta, Santiago del Estero and Tucumán. Northern Argentine groups were born in the 1960s, however, they assimilated influences from Peruvian groups such as Los Continentales and Mirlos de Perú towards the 1980s. The main exponents are Grupo Malagata, Antonio Ríos, Grupo sombra, Daniel Agostini, Sebastián Mendoza, Luz Mala, La Charanga, among others.</div><div><br><br></div><div><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>
