I can make this season meaningful by reflecting with my family. I guess although the pandemic made us be with with each other most of the days, there are times that it feels your alone rather than with the family. In this season I want to cherish more the times I have with them and doing things altogether.

Besides that I can make it meaningful also by helping others---my friends in realizing their wrong doings and being able to fully accept themselves. I know that I can't really fully help them but I will try my best to guide them as a friend that everything will be better.

2020 has indeed been a very difficult year. With the past months, we have been experiencing constant changes that caused us to adjust and adapt abruptly. Things went by really fast and as if there is so much happening in a short period of time. It has been frustrating and different. From the mode of learning up to our daily lives. That is why i, alongside my family, will use this lent season to reflect. So much has happened that we need a paus to process all the events that we went through. As a Family, it is very important to have proper communication. Through Reflection we can go back into what we have done. We can assess our faith in God and improve whatever that needs improvement. For the season to be meaningful, you must dedicate yourself or involve yourself with activities that make it meaningful. First off, we need to pray and wholeheartedly dedicate ourselves for God to revitalize our spiritual being or rather our whole being. Second, we need to use our opportunity to live in the best way possible, abstain from doing unnecessary things that has no relevance to you at all. Third, we need to be kind, this season would be meaningless if you don't actually become a good person to dedicate yourself to God. Always be there to reach out to people who are in need, and don't hesitate to help as well. Fourth, just become a genuinely good person, participate in fasting, abstinence, and always fight off the temptations that will come.
