  • About a month ago we talked about having "Student of the Week" or "Student Spotlights" posted in the hall by grade level, especially for 9th and 10th.
  • Use this time to at least suggest one idea to have our "Student Spotlights" before the break so kids see it when they come back.

  • Please make sure that you are aligned on our electronics policy and student expectations coming back from the break -- cell phones or headphones out in class or tutorial is an electronics referral, no hoods, etc
  • 1) Are students being asked to report for cell phone referrals? YES
    2) Do we plan to confiscate phones as we've done in the past? . YES
  • It will take a good deal of work that week, but the return from break is our last best chance to get this right and create a better learning environment for ourselves and our students for the rest of the year.
