I was at practice and we were doing scrimmages and I had a post which is like going 5 yards up and cutting in. As soon as I cut the ball came to me so I wasn't expecting it but it got in my hand somehow. I caught it with my right but the way I caught it was weird because my arm went a weird way. I was playing receiver and I was practicing for a long time the practice came in clutch and I finally got to show what I was capable of. After I caught the ball everyone was going crazy and was like "No way bro how u catch that", "That was insane", and "I've never seen a catch like that before in my life. I felt good after that catch I just wish it was on camera so I could have it as a memory. Ever since that day I just played good ever since and I ended up making the starting lineup. That was something I wanted to do when I first joined and I just wanted to get on that field.

I had got my grades up in December and I was proud of myself because I worked hard to get them up. The last day I had 1 d and I ended up passing the class with a c and that was to pass all my classes with a c and above. If I worked harder during the semester I wouldn't have had to try so hard to get my grades up. One thing I did learn is that there is no time for slacking and you gotta do what you gotta do. After passing I was able to relax and feel good, also I was able to hang out over the break. Getting my grades up was important because I wanted to have something I could depend on after high school. If I don't want to go to college after high school I could probably wait a little while and then go there. It would be easier to do because colleges will see that I got good grades.

Over the summer I was playing basketball and playing made me find love back in it. Freshman year I was playing football and that's all I wanted to play but once the season ended it was boring and I just wanted to play. Playing football made me lose my love for the game of basketball, I loved football more than basketball and I've been playing basketball my whole life. I didn't want anything to do with basketball I would only play during P.E. and that was the only time I had real fun playing. Over the summer I started to take it seriously again and I'm glad I made that decision. I've been playing since july, and now all I want to do Is just hoop. So next year I'm going to join the team and just hope for the best and make it the best season I ever had.

A fun part of the year for me was playing video games. Although it was stressful, playing video games gave me time to just sit back and relax. I played Fortnite, Warzone, Fall Guys, Madden, NBA2K, and college football. My favorite game was probably college football because I was initially bad, but then I got better, and the game became more fun. 2k and Fortnite were the games I was the best at because I've been playing them since elementary. At one point in my life,e all I did was play the game and eat and it was hard to break that habit but I did. I barely play video games like that so playing them again and finding joy in them was something I hadn't felt in a while. Video games are fun and all but they do distract you from what's going on in the real world.

Nov-Hair

I cut my hair in November and it was something I wanted to do but I didn't. I like it when I regrow but I hate growing it out it's just stressful. When I had my hair I wasn't taking care of it like I was supposed to. So I restarted and I didn't like it, I had a hoodie on for like 3 or 4 weeks. Having hair is something important to me because a person's hair can tell u a lot about them and I felt like my hair fit me. It will probably take like 3 or 4 more months to grow back but in the meantime, I'm going to keep my hair taken care of. I also feel like when I cut my hair I'm more motivated to do things and want to get them done. I tend to work out more and get more work done when my hair is cut and I don't know why I guess my mentality changes.
