Indigenous Action features podcasts about "anti-colonial agitation and action" with a call to action for mobilization about two land and water defenders who protested a border wall that would desecrate O'odham Lands in Arizona. Emergence Magazine has several videos on the native nations and the importance of water and culture preservation.
Ted talks have thousands of views. A couple are Native Americans : We Shall Remain,  The Standing Rock resistance and our fight for indigenous rights, and Vice’s coverage on the subject matter in 2015, Living Without Water: Contamination Nation.

In an effort to reclaim the Klamath River, the Yurok Tribe collaborated with the University of California Davis Superfund Research Program to identify contaminants in the  watershed that affect the local ecosystem and community health. The groundwork for this project included Yurok-led river sampling, Yurok traditional ecological knowledge, University lab analysis, and a collaborative interpretation of results. 
Well known media outlets like Vice News, Dams Are Threatening California Salmon and a Native Tribe's Culture, High Country News, How the Yurok Tribe is reclaiming the Klamath River,Outside Magazine, The Klamath River is the Lifeblood of the Yurok Tribe, and KCET of Southern California have content on Youtube regarding the matter- Tending the Wild: Keeping the River.

Winnemem Wintu focuses more on how indigenous peoples have been silenced by the U.S. government, how their rights have been ignored, and how their safety and the safety of their land and wildlife has been disregarded, rather than the actual sacredness of the water itself. This does not mean that water is not as sacred to them, however they choose to focus on why and how this belief is seen as unimportant. The tribe stands up to big corporations and governments who think they can build whatever they want, wherever they want, without the consultation of those actually inhabiting that land.
