         <description><![CDATA[<p>January 1933 - May 1945 Hitler and his Nazis despised Jews and other races that didnt meet his criteria of "the perfect race". As Germany occupied more and more countries Jews were discriminated against and forced to live in Jewish Ghettos. Then they were forced into concentration camps where they were beaten, tortured, slaved, and killed. Throughout the Holocaust about a total of 11 million people were killed. After the war some concentration camps were liberated.</p>]]></description>

The bombing killed about 130,000 people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. They still remain the only use of nuclear weapons in warfare history. </p>]]></description>
