         <description><![CDATA[<div>Increasing the amount of water up to 10ml affects the germination of seeds. However, when above 10ml of water, the level of germination does not have a great change. This is true because when looking at the data of the seeds, there was a dramatic increase in the size of the seeds between 0 and 5ml. However, for the seeds above 10ml of water, there was not a large amount of change between the data and if there was, it was all due to chance. Too much water will not affect the growth in germination of the seeds because the size of the seeds is not larger, which means that the amount of water is not beneficial to them, but less water is.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>There will be more bugs on the wet side. This is true because the class averages statistically showed how many more bugs were on the wet side rather than the dry side. The wet side's average was 7.6, but the dry side was only&nbsp;2.4. The reason the pill bugs were more likely to stay on the wet side is due to their relationship to crustaceous species. This means that they contain many traits with animals such as lobsters, crabs, etc. This affects the pillbugs because they have gills on their body that need to stay moist. This is why the pillbugs were more prone to being on the wet side because they needed the water from it to stay alive.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>High levels of nitrogen result in an increase in duckweed growth. The graph shows that with 30 drops of nitrogen, there is consistently a higher number of duckweed compared to the other groups that had lower levels of nitrogen. This is due to the fact that plant DNA relies on nitrogen, a type of nutrient,  to thrive and continue to grow. So when there is more nitrogen, there is more growth of duckweed. </div>]]></description>

This is true because data shows that the bead's CO2 only increased by 8.4, and the dormant bean's increased by 19.7, but the germinated bean's CO2 increased by 654.6. This means that the germinating beans have a higher rate of respiration because when in the process of respiration, they emit CO2, so when the CO2 levels are higher, they are respiring more. The reason they are respiring more is because they are still growing, which means that they still need more oxygen to fuel their mitochondria compared to a dormant bean. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The light intensity increases the amount of CO2 consumed because more photosynthesis occurs.  Our lab data shows that when the leaves have light they consume, on average, 93.1% of CO2. On the other hand, the dark leaves had their CO2 increased, on average by 150.3%. This is clearly a very large difference in CO2 levels. This happens because when plants have sunlight they go through photosynthesis, which means that they take in CO2 and sunlight to produce oxygen and sugar. This causes the CO2 levels to greatly decrease. So, when there is no sunlight, there is only respiration which increases the amount of CO2. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The amount of solute concentration increases the amount of percent mass change due to osmosis. Our lab data shows that when the solute concentration was 0m or 0.8m, there was the greatest percent mass change. This is true because the percent mass change for 0 was 21.1% and 0.8 was -28.9%. This change happened because of osmosis. When the solute concentration was 0% the potato was placed into a hypotonic environment because the potato had more solutes than the concentration. This means that more water from the solute concentration would be put into the potato to create an equilibrium. This would then cause the potato's mass to increase. On the other hand, the solute concentration of 0.8% had the potato in a hypertonic environment. This means that the potato had less solute in it compared to the concentration. This would cause more water to leave the potato, thus causing the mass to decrease. </p>]]></description>
