The "prompt" could be classified as a written response, math procedural explanation, or a post to any social media platform. Given these diverse "prompts", students need to be able to differentiate how they respond or create a response that meets the context's demands. We are changing the "thinking" about responding to prompts by expanding to students'  receptive and expressive  
capacity.
