Helga Weiss just happens to be the girl that tricked the Nazi's into making her work and she lied about her age.Helga who was born on November 10,1929 was only 15 years old and lied about being old enough to work for her keep.This saved her mother and her and she lied to one of the most relived men in modern history,Josef Mengele and he fell for it.Helga and her parents together were sent to the concentration Camp of Terezin. While she was still over there she decided to write diary entries about her experiences then and there a couple being,cruel rationing of food,squad living quarters and executions.Helga Weiss dad had soon passed away,and Helga almost died a total of 2 times.May 5,1945,a year after being there she was finally able to escape leaving her dad because the camp was liberated by Allied Forces.

Helga Weiss being part of the Resistance was sent too a total of 4 death camps.She got I'll twice and almost died from her illness meaning that she was almost at her limits.Other's that were in the death camps became quickly friend's with Helga even being some that were already her friends before the Holocaust started.Helga's dad assumingly died and and she and her mom later escaped after.She is known for her Resistance because Resistance is being Jewish and able to escape,knowing that very few will be that lucky to get a chance to breath clean air again was what led Helga to hope.
