Where did you grow up and go to school?

I went to elementary school in Texas and then moved to Pennsylvania where I attended Perkiomen Valley Middle School East.

What were some of the highlights and lowlights of your summer?

I really enjoyed going to India for vacation over the summer. I got to visit my family and go shopping and have amazing food on my trip. I really didn't like traveling on the plane though. It was 16 hrs long and the only thing I did was sleep. Not to mention the airports that make your legs scream for help from all the walking around. We also missed our flight once and then we got to board a delayed plane.

What are your interests/ things that you are good at?

I like to read and play my violin. I'm also really good at eating, sleeping, and watching movies. Those things also seem to be my hobbies. When it comes to being active, I like to play badminton though that's the only sport I will actually enjoy playing. I also like to play with my cat, Felix.

What are your goals/extracurriculars for this year?

I really want to be focused on my studies this year because I took a lot of honors classes and one AP. I'm not entirely sure if I can manage it but I will work hard and hope I get an A or above in all of my classes. Since I enjoy reading, I am planning on joining Reading Olympics as I already have been doing it for the past 3 years and it's been a fun experience.

What are your past strengths and weaknesses in ELA?

I really enjoy reading and I like to do public speaking too. I aced pretty much every presentation I had to give in middle school. I'm not the best at group work though because it's a little bit difficult to incorporate my ideas with the rest of the group's ideas. Hopefully I can improve on that this year.

How do you feel about reading and writing in general?

I thoroughly enjoy reading (and writing depending on what I have to write). I think writing research papers are somewhat fun and essays have always been a breeze for me. One thing I don't like reading though is nonfiction books about historical events or wars.

What would you be doing right now if you weren't at school (other than sleeping)?

I would maybe be reading or texting my friends. Probably helping my mom around the house or playing with my cat. I also sometimes go on a walk around the neighborhood with my sister. I do like it here at school though (other than waking up early). It's a good break from the boredom of staying at home and doing nothing.
