How I know violent video games can make someone develop becoming aggressive is by how much they are spending time playing the game and how their behavior may have changed. I know this because on the article, violent video games can increase aggression, it stated, ¨The first study involved 227 college students who completed a measure of trait aggressiveness and reported their actual aggressive behaviors (delinquency) in the recent past. They also reported their video game playing habits. No, violent video games should should not be banned  for young people (18 and under). Some may argue that violent video games contribute to youth violence, but researchers say that there is no relationship between video games and social video. Video games actually ease anxiety and depression and create social connections. When I was going through depression, video games like GTA and COD helped me a lot because it made me feel like I'm not alone anymore, you can look on https://videogames.procon.org/ for more infromation on that. The article Do Violent Video Games Contribute to Youth Violence? States, “...opinion that studies purporting to show a connection between violent video games and harmful effects on children “have been rejected by every court to consider them, and with good reason. They do not prove that violent video games cause minors to act aggressively.” This evidence proves  my position of weather or not should violent video games be banned for young people because it shows that video games do not have a nothing to do with youth violence. I know some people are still gonna be on the fence about this (especially parents). You're probably thinking,” Little kids can play these games and think that's okay” but let’s be serious, kids should know it’s not okay to actually do these things and reality because of what you teach them at home.
