         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Character:</strong><br>Willow Chance<br><br><strong>The Additional Character In Relationship:</strong><br>Mrs.King<br><br><strong>Dialogue:</strong><br>"The instructor, Mrs.King, had just plowed her way through a popular picture book. It featured the hallmarks of most pre-school literature: repetition, some kind of annoying rhyming and bold-faced scientific lies"(page 16)<br><br>"The appropriate answer as far as she was concerned, was tired, because the overly cheery instructor forced us to lie down on sticky rubber mats for twenty minutes after "lunchtime picture book"(page 16)<br><br><strong>Relationship Support:<br></strong>Mrs.King treats Willow like a little kid, and Willow hates it because she has a IQ way higher than kids her age.She knows that picture books have imaginative lies in them and the fact that her teacher preaches them that irritates her.<strong><br><br>The Hidden Part Of The Relationship Shown:<br></strong>Willow thinks that her teacher tells them annoying scientific lies and forces them to feel tired and lie down.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Character:</strong><br>Willow Chance<br><br><strong>The Additional Character In Relationship:</strong><br>Margaret Buckle<br><br><strong>Dialogue:</strong></div><div>"In grade school, at Rose Elementary, I had one true companion"(page 22)<br><br>"Despite the distance, I thought Margaret and I would would stay really close"(page 22)<br><br>"She's moved on.Who can blame her?"(page 23)<br><br><strong>Relationship Support:</strong><br>The relationship between Margaret and Willow seems like two friends torn apart by distance, it feels like they both were good friends but then Margaret moved on from their  friendship and Willow thought it was fine.<br><br><strong>Hidden Part Of The Relationship shown:</strong><br>I think the word "distance" says a lot, it probably means that Margaret moved away somewhere far. At first Willow that they could still be close friends but later she"moved on" meaning that distance impacted their friendship in a negative way.Willow thought that it was fine for her to move on because she was far away now and she had to make new friends.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Character:</strong><br>Willow Chance<br><br><strong>The Additional Character In Relationship:</strong><br>Parents <br><br><strong>Dialogue:</strong><br>"I figured lying was laying a good groundwork for that.But it was as if I'd eaten something that was giving me indigestion."(page 50)<br><br>"I hadn't told my parents about meeting Principal Psoriasis from Sequoia.Or that I would have to see some kind of school parole officer named Dell Duke.I'm not sure why"(page 50)<br><br>"It had been their idea to move schools, and I wanted them to think things were going as well as possible"(page 50)<br><br><strong>Relationship Support:</strong><br>Willow loved her parents very much and was always a good child except this time she hid the fact about being forced by principal to meet Dell Duke and that was troubling her.<br><strong><br>Hidden part of the relationship shown:<br></strong>Willow did not tell her parents about being forced by the principal to meet Dell Duke because she thought that they would be worried, this shows that she cared about them.</div>]]></description>
