Throughout school I was always a student that listened to my teacher and would get annoyed easily if others were not doing the same. I have found that when I am teaching I sometimes become somewhat annoyed by the students who constantly choose to not listen to me. I have implemented times throughout the lesson that I will use those students to help me demonstrate or solve problems. I have also included activities that will keep their interest longer. Finally, I have made it a priority to point out and reward the students who are becoming distracted with positive reinforcement when they are doing small things correctly.

They use group quizizz often in class, so now they will be able to focus solely on the social aspect.
-Lesson 2: I decided to have my students work in smaller groups for this lesson in order to more clearly demonstrate their understanding and build their social skills even more.
-Lesson 3: In this lesson my students are working with the groups from lesson #2. I did this in order to help them build relationships with different individuals outside of their friend group.

I wanted to focus on social skills throughout this entire unit because my students are from a rural town and have had the same friends for their entire lives. I tried to move students around to be paired with other students that they don't know as well in order for them to really practice their social skills. They will need these social skills in their lives in the future.
