During these years France was struggling economically because of their rise in population and social change without any economic change. Because of the economic struggles the king was forced to create a legislative party called the national assembly, Who revolted against the unfair king that did not give equal rights. This revolution spread around the country like wildfire, and created large social change. The king then was executed for treason in a war against austria. And the national assembly took power, but only after a short 5 years Napoleon Bonaparte took control of the country and turned France into a large empire with lots of power.

This is exactly what the revolution of France was against they wanted a more peaceful more fair society where the people could fight and vote for their rights. With Napoleon the people could never fight for anything it was a sheer dictatorship. This is why the French revolution made no social change.
