I could prevent ocean pollution by throwing away my trash. I can make sure that I recycle. I don't know how a plastic grocery bag would end up in the ocean but I'll keep my grocery shopping far away from the ocean. I'll clean up after myself when it comes to going to the beach and having a picnic. I could join a group that helps clean up the beach. Throwing away my trash and recycling will really help the ocean. Keeping these toxins out of our ocean would keep it more healthy.

To prevent ocean devestation, I could clean pick up trash around the beach. Since I am in key club (helping the community with service) there's a service event during the summer where we go to the beach and do a beach clean up. I think everyone should a small part and keep the oceans safe because its a home to some animals and they have a life too. I believe the world can be a better place if everyone helps to keep oceans safe.

Another thing I could do is join a group that cleans oceans. I also could begin talking to people to stop them from fishing. - Plastic Bottles
- Aluminum cans
- cardboard
- & paper
We need to also make sure we dispose of our trash properly.
Our ocean contains half of our food supply and in order for us to stay healthy, we need to take care of the ocean.

We could start banning certain fishing methods such as trawl fish. We can imposed heavy fines on anyone who violates the law, especially fishing and luxury boat companies. We could start or help out programs specifically designed to help clean and protect the ocean. Landfills can be forced to help out programs designed to help clean oceans. We can also recycle plastics to avoid them from ending up in the ocean.

Based on what I learned today there is a variety of things that i can do in order to prevent ocean devastation. One thing that I can do in order to help is to use lest plastic, and if I am going to use plastic, I must make sure it ends up in a trashcan or recycling bin. Since the polluting of oceans and beaches is already such a problem, i can help pick up beaches as well
