Who would most likely sing this and why?The slaves would most likely sign this to express how they feel being a life long slave is similar to being stuck in a storm. 3 hidden messages:The first hidden message is “Give me a little time to pray”. This could mean the slaves want a break from slavery or the “Storm” to pay to god to stop. The next hidden message is “The angels waiting to ride your name”. This could mean the slaves want to die and they want the angels to take them to heaven. The final hidden message is “Come on sister don’t you be ashamed”.
