         <description><![CDATA[<div>On March 7, 1876, Alexander Graham Bell, then 29, received a patent for his revolutionary new invention, the telephone, which he created at his parents' home near Brentford. A wire connected the needle to the battery, and another wire connected the battery to a receiver. When Bell spoke into the phone, the paper and needle vibrated. The vibrations were then converted into an electric current, which was then sent along the wire to the receiver.</div><div><br></div><div>Design Elements:Alexander Graham Bell’s phone had one main purpose and that was to communicate with others but more advanced phones nowadays allow you to communicate take pictures play games and more.Alexander Graham Bell made the phone for communication but the phone has become capable of more.</div><div><br></div><div>Technological Environment: Alexander Graham Bell invented the phone in Canada but made the phone in the United States. In the 1870s the photograph and the light bulb were also invented.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Meucci devised an electromagnetic/electric telephone as a way of connecting his second floor bedroom to his basement laboratory, and thus being able to communicate with his wife. Between 1856-1870, Meucci developed more than 30 different kinds of telephones based of his prototype.</div><div><br></div><div>Physical and Functional Nature: The phone Meucci made is quite small and has a simple look to it also looks very similar to a hand bell.Meucci’s phone was made for communication which worked quite well.</div><div><br></div><div>Intended and Alternative Functions:The Intended function fro Muecci’s phone was to help him communicate with his wife the phone had only one function which was communication.The Alternative function is to use it as a microphone for example you love to sing but back then they didn’t have mics so you can use this phone has a microphone and the other side of the phone as the speaker.&nbsp;</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Motorola DynaTAC 8000X was the first handheld cellular phone that allowed people to make longer distance calls than just a landline phone. It did not require any lines or cords to be attached to make a call. The first ever cellular phone call was made in 1973, using this phone, by Dr. Martin Cooper.</div><div><br></div><div>Malfunction: Motorola has lost its top position in the Indian mobile phone market. Realme and Xiaomi have emerged as the top two vendors in the past few years, providing advanced features at a lower price for their handsets compared to Motorola's entry-level offerings - costing between Rs 9-12.</div><div><br></div><div>Technological Enviroments: The Motorola DynaTAC 8000X was the world's first portable commercial handheld cellular phone, released in 1983. An example of the first mass produced phone to be available for use on the GSM digital mobile networks. GSM stands for Global System for Mobile Communications originally named after the committee that worked on it, Groups Spécial Mobile.</div><div><br>Technological Enviroments: Nokia 1011 mobile phone, produced by Nokia in Germany between 1992 and 1994. An example of the first mass-produced phone that could be used on GSM digital mobile networks.</div><div><br></div><div>Physical and Functional Nature:It looks like a realy small calculator with a smal display and some buttons for numbers and letters.The Nokia 1011 was the company's first GSM digital handheld phone. The phone weighed 475g, held 99 contacts, and displayed two lines of black and white text. It was released in 1985 and became the European standard for digital mobile technology three years later.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

It featured a 3.5-in.</div><div><br></div><div>Malfunction:A faulty proximity centre in an iPhone could be due to a manufacturing flaw or a software issue. To troubleshoot your iPhone, restart it or perform a factory reset. You can also use iTunes to restore your iPhone in DFU mode to resolve the issue.</div><div><br></div><div>Intended and Alternative Function: The Intended Function is to talk to others and take pictures. The Alternative function is that it can also be used as a height booster if you put it in your shoe you suddenly become taller.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>HTC Dream: After months of rumors and speculation, Apple CEO Steve Jobs unveiled the first iPhone on Jan. 9, 2007. The device, which didn't actually go on sale until June, started at $499 for a 4GB model, $599 for the 8GB version (with a two-year contract). It offered a 3.5-in.</div><div><br></div><div>Malfunction: The HTC Dream was overheating alot and the screen would stop working and the phone wasn’t built very well so it also had a low battery life and slow charging but they had some solutions to help.</div><div><br></div><div>Design Elements:The HTC Dream phone is a good phone but compared to the phone we have nowadays I doubt people would consider buying it. The HTC Dream phone had some good features and was built alright considering the resources and standards. The HTC Dream featured a horizontal slide-out touchscreen that concealed a full keyboard beneath. It had 256MB of internal memory and 192MB of RAM. The smartphone came with a 1,150mAh battery and ran Android 1.6 Donut. This information gave people ideas to make phones more advanced in the future.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>2050 Futuristic Phone</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The 2050 Futuristic Phone is a bracelet that you put on your wrist and it projects a phone from the bracelet there is a control panel on the bracelet which is how you function the phone. The Phone is just a projection from the Bracelet so you want to be tapping on the projection bt on your bracelet.<br><br><strong>Malfunction:</strong> The phone was very cool but it had a bad battery life because of how small the bracelet was so they couldn't put the best devices in the bracelet because there was not enough space. The phone wasn't slow but it would sometimes lag which could be very annoying at times.<br><br><strong>Intended and Alternative Function:</strong> The Intended function was to use the bracelet to communicate to others in a faster and cooler way but you could do a lot more then just communicate. The Alternative function is to use it as a normal bracelet fro fashion.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The StarTAC, created by Motorola in 1996, was the phone that started the whole revolution of flip phones. Most people of college age or older probably had some sort of flip phone in their life before the iPhone was introduced.</div><div><br></div><div>Physical and Functional Nature:The StarTAC phone is quite small and looks like a walkie talkie and if you compare it to the phones we have now just of looks some would think its a toy.The StarTAC had a keypad and spines with several large buttons that held 100 phone numbers. The StarTAC was one of the first phones to use a vibration motor to allow you to accept calls silently. Pull-out antennas were popular in the mid- to late-1990s, and they were still in use in the early 2000s.</div><div><br></div><div>Intended and Alternative Functions:The StartTAC is just like any other phone you can It’s Main Intended Function is to contact people by either texting or calling.Its Alternative function is to use it as a speaker when your on a call with your friends you can put it to max volume and use it as a speaker.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Samsung Galaxy Beam is a phone that projects the phone on to object such as a wall and this is helpful because if your watching a football game and your friends wanna see as well then you can just project it to the wall and then everyone can see.<br><br>Physical and Functional Nature: The Samsung galaxy beam is quite a thick phone and it functions just like a normal Samsung phone with a giant projector on the top of the phone. Android Beam is a device-to-device data transfer tool that uses NFC and Bluetooth to send photos, videos, contact information, links to webpages, navigation directions, YouTube URLs, and other files from one device to another simply by bumping them together.<br><br>Malfunction: The phone was a bad phone because of the projector. The battery life was really bad an the phone was very slow and hard to use because of these and it was bad enough that it had a bad battery life but it was also really slow at charging.</div>]]></description>
