         <title>Read Write Inc Fresh Start</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Wave 2, as it is completed with groups of up to 8 children. It is focused on struggling readers in year 5, 6, 7 and 8 to help improve their reading and writing. It is advised for maximum progress they complete this programme for one hour a day over 4 days a week. I believe this is ongoing, with half-termly assessments until they are no longer considered a 'struggling reader' and respond well to normal teaching of reading and writing. Case studies have shown it to be extremely effective, with children responding well to the programme, working alongside peers and teachers have seen a difference in children on the programme in all areas of the curriculum. It is recognised that targeted interventions for children who underachieve in specific areas can be really beneficial and target their learning needs. <br><br></div>]]></description>
