Two things that I found interesting about my results were my two highest scores. Starting with artistic, I am honestly not one to be really creative or artistic so this came as a shock. For social, I am definitely not a social person at all. I tend to be very quiet and not outgoing at all which also surprised me.

Two things that I found interesting about these results were my work environment being artistic and one of my characteristics being non-conforming. I found my work environment surprising because the other test gave me this result as well and I have never thought of that realm of work. I do not realize that a lot of my traits show as artistic. I found the non-conforming trait to be surprising as well because I think that I stay within norms a lot of the time and do not like to step out of them.

Chapters 13 & 14 Important Info.

The most important piece of information that I learned from chapters 13 & 14 were that living life to the fullest goes beyond just exercising and eating healthy. Factors such as your social life and mental health impact your life span greatly. For example, in section 14.1 (page 401) of the textbook, it goes in detail about the many benefits that surrounding yourself in a positive environment can give you. Making these changes eases stress which can reduce complication in your later-life. It can also make later-life a lot more enjoyable.

My real age told me that I was 17. Which is not too far off from my actual age (I am 18 years old). Two important things that I learned from these results are that I need to get more rest, and that I need to work on stress reducing. I do agree that I do not get enough rest, which I think could also play a part in my stress levels. I know that there are many ways that I could reduce stress and I will definitely take more action on both of these things in the near future.

Living to 100 Calculator Results

My living to 100 calculator results told me that I would live to age 84. Two things that I gathered from my results is that I should be doing a lot more screenings, and how 65 more years of life seems like so much time. For screenings, it is better to do them more often because it really is better to be safe than sorry. And for 65 more years, I really have to think about how I can live financially comfortably for the rest of my years.

Ideal Life Stage

To me, the most ideal life stage is early adulthood. I believe this because this is when you start becoming comfortable in many different ways. Some include financially, family-wise, housing-wise. Everything starts to align at this age when you have comfortable job, living environment, and creating a family. For example in section 11.1 of the textbook, it goes to say how although balancing this life at first can be difficult, once you find a good balance it can become very enjoyable for a family to experience.

I genuinely loved this course. It was very interesting to me in many different ways. I liked the variety of assignments it kept me very engaged. I do not have anything I would really change about the course really. I love Mrs. B's teaching style which has lead me to take her courses 3 times now. Overall, I really did enjoy my psych courses with Mrs. B and am very sad that there are not more I can take. :(
