According to legend, it is the sitting posture of Sakyamuni when he was cultivating the right path under the Bodhi tree.
Appearance: The face is like a full moon, the forehead is broad and straight, the ears are drooping on the shoulders, the smile is kind, the top is a bun, the blue lotus eye, the eyebrows are like the first moon, and between the eyebrows, there is a white as snow, soft as cotton hair, rotating to the right. The Buddha face, which weighs 5 tons and is 4.3 meters high, was poured with about 2 kilograms of gold added to make it even more luscious.
Mudra: The right hand shows the "Fearless Seal", the left hand hangs down on the foot, the palm is turned outward, and the fingertips are slightly downward, called "Wish Seal", and the Dharma wheel appears in the center of both palms, which means that the Buddhadharma lasts forever and circulates in the ten directions.

3.History: The Big Buddha was constructed beginning in 1990, and was finished on 29 December 1993, which the Chinese reckon as the day of the Buddha's enlightenment.
