I found the answers to most of my questions, One of my questions asked if the media did cover this and how it did it?

The media gathered the workers voices and portrayed them to the world.

Over the past hour, I have read and annotated the article I found for the homework assignment. The article offered a lot of good information on different significant events, times, and stories. The article also provided a lot of hyperlinks that I can now go in and explore.

2.) Find another credible source relating to my topic

Over the past hour I have annotated the source I found over the weekend "Attica" by Stanley Nelson. It describes the Attica prison uprising of 1971, highlighting its significance as the largest prison uprising in US history. The text describes the events leading up to the uprising, the violent response from authorities, and the lasting impact on the American justice system which I found extremely interesting. I then found a second source by using a hyperlink that was included in my article.
