Kevin is White and Dana is Black. The story starts off with them moving into their new home in California. Dana starts to feel dizzy and blacks out and later wakes up in 1815. She meets a boy Name Rufus who is later to be found out she is her Great Great Grandfather, and is tied to her time travel. She begins to time travel back she time travels three times but the 3rd time she brings Kevin with her. Then Kevin gets stuck for 5 years he then moves out of Maryland. Dana comes back. Rufus is more violent. She came back because Rufus was getting beat to death by Issac (Alice Husband). Issac get captured. On her birthday she's cleaning up her house when she suddenly feels dizzy. Little did she know she time traveled to the past. When she wakes up she sees a young boy drowning in a river and decides to save him. She does save him, right before an angry man comes up to shoot her. Right before the bullet can hit her she is sent back to her own time. Kevin, her husband, claims that she disappeared.
