CODE COMBAT

Choose your hero and code your way through the ogre patrols, lava pits, and laser beams of Kithgard Dungeon. Level up, earn gems, and loot magic items to unlock new programming powers!

https://codecombat.com/play?hour_of_code=true

2. DRAGON DASH

Design your own custom dragon, then use programming to guide it through fun puzzles on its quest for treasure and coins! You'll have to navigate through complex castles, find power-ups, and conquer knights to get all the treasure.

https://www.tynker.com/hour-of-code/dragon-dash

3. PHYSICS CANNON

Make an awesome 2-player cannon game and challenge your friends to play with you! You'll start with a partially programmed version of the game, so you need to program the left cannon. Once you've got both cannons firing, you'll set up platforms and other items to knock over. Make it your own by adding extra features and customizing the theme!

https://www.tynker.com/ide/?p=546eaeef84aafa3125000012

4. HOT WHEELS

Learn to program with Hot Wheels in this high-octane racing game! Choose from a wide selection of cars, then learn to program as you navigate through complex race tracks. It is a symbol-based programming language, used for instructions and even AI behaviors. movements, loops, GO-TO's, true/false-statements are all core parts of the game. The players are guided through a tutorial and presented for the posibilities, step by step. There are no correct solution for the tutorial levels, so the user can chose whatever solution they like.

https://www.codingpiratesgame.com/play

7.

STEP ONE (Graffiti Creation)
Using a 'graffiti creator' site (which works a lot like tattoo/font/image creation sites, meaning that most of it is 'pay-locked' for the average person to use), I want you to create your name in graffiti. The site we'll be using is linked below. Please choose a style (out of the nine being offered), then create your name and add a number of effects.

Chrome 5 Graffiti -> http://www.graffiticreator.net/htm/creator_chrome5.htm#.Wd51EFtSzDc

STEP TWO (Image Cloning)
Like most 'pay-locked' sites, you're unable to move forward unless you buy a product or pay for what you've created. There's a common work around for this, sometimes referred to as 'image cloning' or 'printscreen cropping'.
1. When you've finished your product, move your mouse to the corner of the screen, make sure all your graffiti is on the screen in front of you, and press (once) the PRTSCRN button in the top right corner of your keyboard. This saves a picture to a temporary file on your computer.
2. Open the Paint application (available for free on any computer that has Windows). Click 'paste' or CTRL+V on your keyboard. The screenshot that was just temporary saved will appear.
3. Using the cropping tool, create a rectangle around your graffiti. Make sure to not include anything else indicating that this is a screenshot, and then click 'Crop'.
4. Click 'Save As', and save this picture to your computer.

STEP THREE (Upload to Padlet)
In the 'comments' section below, post your graffiti art!
