With parent approval, this will change the legal name to the preferred name for all documents produced in the SIS other than: • SR Card • Interim Reports • Report Card • Transcripts • Assessments • Diploma ....However, this is only in SIS, correct? The Preferred Name will not be on class lists generated from SILK? We have tried it with one of our students and waited overnight…The name is still the birth name on class lists generated in SILK, and the labels that we print from SIS are still birth name. I just want to be able to tell parents where they will see Preferred Name. Maybe it just isn’t set up in SILK yet?
