Ancient wisdom is the belief that ancients knew more than modern day scientists. Any scientific or reference at all from and to ancients and ancient beings is considered ancient wisdom.

The Mayan Calendar and the belief that the world was going to end December 2012. The mayans would have no idea that was going to happen but because of these predictions, millions of people believed that the world would in fact end in 2012 because of these ancient beings. The all natural red flag is the belief that because something is all natural that is is healthy and good for you and others. This can be untrue in many cases and should not always be believed and followed.

Giant hogweed is a plant that grows naturally in the woods. It resembles the flower Queen Annes Lace but can have dire effects. if you come in contact with giant hogweed it can cause severe burns on the skin and permanent blindness. Even though it is natural, it is not good nor is it safe for humans or animals. The link provided also shows some "natural" remedies hogweed is used for.

patternicity is when humans strive to find patterns that mean something in everyday things. people pain out patterns even when none are present.

When you think about someone specific that you haven't seen in a while and that day you happen to run into them, you may believe that you are psychic because of how random and unexpected that encounter was. You may refuse to believe the scientific reason that, even though the probability of running into them is low, its still there and far more likely than you being a psychic.
