Focus on celebration rather than victimization

Add a person of interest to experience, learn about, research, close read

Open up an opportunity for students to bring in their own life experiences and knowledge

Provide opportunities for students to share their experiences with each other

Find ways to decenter your voice, and amplify BIPOC and Queer voices
