I think I have good communication skills which are crucial for this job as you have to communicate with patient's about their problems and what they are experiencing. Physio is also something that interests me as well as this, I would earn a lot about it along the way.

Weaknesses - My age could be an issue, due to me being 16 years old, other physio's may not allow me to shadow them or hire me because I am under the age of 18. I also have other commitments such as college and participating in a high level of sport which may limit my time of experiencing what it's like to work as a physio. I have a limited amount of experience as a physio because I have never done a placement there or been to a physio my self.

Opportunities - Being on the college course I am currently on will allow me to get the grades I need in order to enter a university and join a course to become a physio. Getting a placement in college is an opportunity for me to work experience as a physio. Being at college allows me to gain extra qualifications at my placements, helping me in job interviews and making me easier to hire for jobs.

Threats - There is a lot of competition for placements in physio which may make it unsuccessful for me to gain any experience. If I do not get the grades I need in college to sign up for university, it may mean I have to retake the college course wasting two years of potential physiotherapist experience. If I do not manage to get a placement in physio at college it won't allow me to gain any extra qualifications for m CV making it harder to hire me for jobs.
