During the middle of the book 
  • Why do you think the tree kept giving the boy everything he asked for? 
Because the tree is nice and caring. 
  • Do you think that is fair? 
No. Sharing all the time isnt always a good thing. 
  • Why? Why not?
Because, that person is going to always ask if you keep giving, like the boy in the book.
Towards the end,  
  • Do you think it was fair what the boy did to the tree? 
No, he wasn't very nice to the tree.
  • Would you do the same as the tree? 
No, I don't like asking for things.
